She's One!

My baby love is one year old! We celebrated Ava's first birthday on Saturday, December 27th. We had a little gathering of family and a few close friends. Ava was in an AMAZING mood all night and loved all of the extra attention ;)  This year has gone by so fast, with lots of ups and downs. She has blessed us so much-I never thought I could love a little tiny girl so much! Here are a few fun pictures! She was a pro at tearing apart her cake...

Christmas

Ava's first Christmas! It's so weird to think that last year I was as big as a house...trying to keep my baby in my belly for just a few more days so that we could get past Christmas (she was good and came 2 days after Christmas). The kids were so excited to see their presents under the tree on Christmas morning. Aden got a basketball hoop and knew exactly what to do with it! After a relaxing morning at home, the chaos began. First we were at my Mom's house. Presents, lunch ECT and then at Scott's parent's house for dinner, presents ECT. It was freezing at night and the wind sounded like it was going to knock over their house! All in all it was a great day, the kids have more toys then I know what to do with :)

Halloween (finally!)

I'm finally getting around to posting all about this holiday season...here we go!

Halloween was a fun night for us! Aden was a sailor, and Ava was a fairy! We were at my Mom's house first (Halloween is also my little brother's birthday) and then we headed over to Scott's brother's house for dinner number 2. Here are some sute pics...enjoy!

Sorry my friends...

I just wanted to apologize to all of my lovely ladies for basically disappearing and never returning anyone's phone calls. Ava has cut 4 teeth in the past 2 weeks, so needless to say we are up aallllllll night long. I just haven't been myself, and soon, I will be a better friend-I promise!! (Holly I love you!!!!)

"Gotcha Day"

Seven years ago today, my sisters Ally and Kamila came home to join our family. I never knew how badly I wanted to have little sisters until I met these girls. They are two of the most beautiful, smart, loving, funny and all around amazing children I have ever met, and I am so glad to call them MINE! We recognize this day every year as "Gotcha Day", because it it the day that we "got ya" :)  Bella has a different day...all to herself!
