WHERE TO BEGIN...
I have decided to start blogging (like a few other of my Mommy friends). So many things happen during our days and this will be a great and easy way to share them all-as well as a place for me to write! I guess we will dive right in-tonight is the first night that Aden is sleeping in his room. He has been sleeping in a crib in our room for these last 18 months and now that Ava needs to be moved out of our bed, Aden has been moved to his room. I layed him down and he was a little confused, but soon fell fast asleep. Of course, I sat in the hall and cried. He has a beautiful night light and Scott will be sleeping in the bed in Aden's room to get him (ME) used to it all. Once Aden (I) am comfortable with this arrangementl, Scott will come back to our room and the video monitor will keep watch over Aden all night. I know I sound very dramatic but Aden's room is the absolute furthest place away from our room as our house is very looooooong and sprawling. Ava is sleeping in the crib in our room now-I'm hoping this will help her sleep as she has been getting up to nurse 5 times a night! I know that I have to let him grow up a little bit at a time but this one is just killing me. I want to go and sleep on the floor by his crib in case he wakes up but I have another baby now, who really does need me. Scott will be Aden's big protector tonight, and I will be okay with it all...eventually.

Yeah!! Congratulations Katie!! This is a HUGE step for you I know but I'm know he'll (you'll) do great! Let me know how it goes!
Hey Katie,
Wow, how I know thw feeling of not wanting to be separated from your child. I will be putting a baby monitor in Blake's room when he has his own room again....he's three. If I could, I would walk along side Blake forever keeping watch over him...thankfully we already have someone doing that for us..Jesus!
What a great idea...blogging! I miss you. You look beautiful as usual and your babies are divine!!
Take care,
Allison
